Weekend at Aunt Jodi's

We spent the weekend at my sister's house to celebrate my niece's 17th birthday and to watch my nephew walk in a parade for his tae kwon do - as usual, the boys had a blast being there! The weather at the parade was HOT but the boys still had a great time!




They waited patiently (eye roll) for Cousin Tanner to walk by....




And of course no trip to Aunt Jodi's is complete without jumping on the trampoline!



We also got to visit our friends while we were there and Kayden got to play with his friends Kate and Lexi!


As always, a whirlwind trip and so exhausting, but we had a great time -thank you!!

Make a Splash!

Kayden wanted a party at the splash park this year for his birthday so we had to delay it a few months (since it isn't open in April!) He had so many friends that came out to celebrate and they had such a great time - and the weather couldn't have been better -it's been sunny and in the 90's!








And who could forget the cupcakes?? :)

Pride of the Fox

We took the boys up to Pride of the Fox today in St. Charles- I love all the festivals in the summertime that we have around here- the boys always have such a good time! We met our friends up there so Kayden and Dylan could hang out together and hit the rides.




Kayden was so excited to have his face painted!

He also got to try a tae kwon do demo...he loved it!

Happy Father's Day!

Kayden decided that Daddy should have a basketball hoop so they could all play, so we got him one for Father's Day...and the boys have loved it!! They are so cute playing together!



Kayden has been perfecting his bike riding with no training wheels!

And loves to drive his brother around - so cute!

Beautiful weather!

We've had beautiful weather lately and so much time outside- playdates at the park with friends and hanging out in our backyard playing in the water - I love that the boys love being outside (when it's warm of course!)

Mother's Day 2012

We celebrated Mother's Day today with our annual picnic with my mom and Jan - we have a great time every year and the boys love it!



The boys had a great time running around and playing with PopPop and hanging out with Grandma Mary.




We found this cool little "bridge" laid out over the stream and Kayden decided he wanted to walk across it - quite the daredevil but he did it...many times!


Thank you for a great time Grandma and PopPop - we are looking forward to next year's picnic!

The boys made me some nice Mother's Day gifts at daycare =) love them!
