My Little Cutie

Merry Christmas!!

We spent some time Christmas day with the Johnson clan - Kayden got to hang out with his cousins Hunter and Connor - these boys are so cute together and have more and more fun each time they get to hang out! They even sported their matching hoodies that Grandma made for them!

 Carter enjoyed Christmas at Grandma and Grampsy's as well.....

 ...and even got some special "Grampsy" time!

 And here is our family of 4....I promise, Carter really does like us!! :) Hey, 3 out of 4 smiling isn't too bad!

SaNTa, SaNTa, Ho Ho Ho!

Cousin Tanner left milk and cookies out for Santa and from what we could find in the morning...it looks like he enjoyed them! :)

 We came downstairs to the lights on the tree and presents underneath....I LOVE Christmas morning!! And I love it even more now that I can see the excitement in my son's eyes at everything - oh to be a kid again!!

 Santa brought Kayden a new BIG boy bike (which was his favorite gift!!) and some matchbox cars and playdoh....

 Carter was all smiles on Christmas morning!!

 Tanner must have been a good boy this year too b/c he got some great gifts as well - including every Nerf gun imaginable!



CHRiSTMaS eVe

My sister and her family came to spend Christmas with us this year and we had so much fun!!! (So much so that we didn't get many pictures unfortunately!) But here is a picture of my sister and I on Christmas Eve at Kraig's parents house.....

Two Months OLD!

Carter turned 2 months old today -- he weighed in at 12 pounds, 4 oz (75th percentile) and is 23.5 inches long (75th percentile)! He's the same length that Kayden was at 2 months and just a pound and a half smaller- he's catching up! :)  He is sleeping great at night - getting up once in a 12 hour time frame for a feeding and then going right back to sleep! He'll be sleeping 12 hours straight before long (we hope!).  Still doesn't love his tummy time much but we're working on it and he loves to be sitting up and watching everyone - especially Kayden!

 Uncle Brian snapped a picture at the dr's office during Carter's checkup - all was good!



Uncle Brian Meets Carter

Uncle Brian flew up this weekend to visit us and meet Carter - we had a great time and it was nice to have some extra hands around to help out with the boys! He took advantage of Carter's naptimes- who doesn't love a little "heater" lying on them while it is cold outside....especially when said "heater" is sooo cute?! :)

Uncle Brian also bought Kayden his own scooter for Christmas! He LOVES it and rides it all around the house - I'll have to get a picture of him on it. Thanks for coming to visit Uncle Brian - we enjoyed having you!!

Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree tonight (I didn't get a chance to get pictures of us at the tree farm b/c I was busy carrying Carter as we trudged thru the knee-high snow drifts! But Kayden loved it!) He was so excited to get the tree up at home and start decorating it - our tubs of decorations have been out for weeks and he has been asking every day to open them!

 Kayden got the lights out to help Daddy put them on the tree....

 And then it was time to put the star on top - a job for a big boy!!

 Carter hung out in his bouncy seat and watched the activities....

 Kayden LOVED helping out and the tree looks great! Such fun family time!!
