He's gone Vertical!

Carter is not only crawling around everywhere but he is now pulling himself up on whatever he can! He is getting into EVERYTHING and now nothing is off limits (in his mind!)

9 MoNtHs OlD!

Carter is 9 months old today - and growing and changing so much!! He weighs 18 lbs, 10 oz and is 29.5" (averaging 25th-50th percentiles). He is eating some baby food snacks and all regular people food. He loves eating whatever we are eating and gets mad if we don't share with him! He is still sleeping 12-13 hours/night and takes 2 naps - each around 1.5-2.5 hours.

He is now crawling everywhere and pulling himself up to stand - everyone says he'll be walking soon because when he crawls, he usually does a monkey crawl on his hands and feet! But honestly, I'm hoping he takes a while to catch on to walking - I don't need two of them going in opposite directions! :) But he's a quick crawler and picks EVERYTHING up and trys to put it in his mouth - ugh!

Kayden still loves playing with Carter and sitting with him - I hope that always continues!!

All Dressed Up

Kraig and I had a wedding to go to this past weekend - it was so fun to get dressed up and have some time together without any kids (although we did talk about them a lot!).



Hey Chicago...What do you say?? Go Cubs Go!

My good friends from growing up came into town this weekend with their husbands and new babies and it was so fun to hang out and let the boys play! We also had an 'adults night out' at the Cubs game - so much FUN!!

 

The girls - Alexis, Me, Amanda and Colleen. We all went to middle school, high school and college together - love you girls!

Baby Deegan and Kayden - Deegan is 2 months younger than Carter. These 3 little ones are going to be trouble in another year or so!

 

We had such a great weekend - thanks again for coming to visit! We better start planning our next get together soon! xoxo

We have.....TEETH!

Carter got his first two teeth in the past 2 weeks! His first one came in about a week and a half ago and his second one came in today - both of his bottom two front ones. When I can get a good picture of them, I'll post it! Such a big boy!
