9 MoNtHs OlD!

Kayden turned 9 months old today - where has the time gone?? I cannot believe that it has been 9 months since we first saw him! So much has happened in the last month - he has a top tooth coming in and another one close to coming thru - that will be 4 teeth for him so far! He went to the orthopeadic surgeon yesterday for his hips and had another xray done - he got the all clear and does not have to go back until he is a year and a half - yea!! He went to the dr today for his checkup and he is 29.5 inches tall (90th percentile!) and 19 lbs, 8 oz (40th percentile)....the dr called him 'long and lean' but he's still my little chunky monkey! He has started CRAWLING this past week! He is getting further and faster every day and now we really have to keep an eye on him - he can get himself into trouble in no time! He's also pulling himself up on anything that he can - he LOVES to stand! A few times we have found him in his crib standing up and holding on - it's pretty cute to see that little face peering over the top of the crib when we walk in his room! He has also started eating lots of people food and loves them (really he just loves feeding himself anything that he can - he'd MUCH rather do it himself!) He is growing and changing so much every day and we love watching all that he learns to do.

Snow, Snow, and MORE Snow!

We took Kayden out to play in the snow today - his first day of really playing in it and he enjoyed it! Our neighbors were kind enough to let us borrow their sled- but there was too much snow and he just kept falling over in the tracks! We did get to try out his snowsuit from Cousin Tanner and it worked great - thanks Aunt Jodi!! Here he is working on his snow angels.... Kayden wanted his doggies to come out and play with him but of course all Wrigley wanted to do was sit on the patio and shiver b/c it was just TOO cold for him! Such a baby....

But Cabo got in on the action - he LOVES the snow!! Here he is chasing snowballs that Daddy was throwing.

And then Daddy thought it would be fun to bury Kayden in the snow.....he was loving it until he got some on his face....TOO COLD! But what a fun day in the snow -good thing he enjoyed it b/c we have more on the way!!!

Kayden LOVES to stand and play with his toys - even if he's fussy, the minute you put him on his feet, he is SOO happy! Here he is showing off - he's going to be walking on his own in no time! There goes any free time I have left.......

PLAYING and WORKING

Kayden loves hanging out with his doggies - and they LOVE hanging out with him! Kayden has been working so hard at trying to master crawling - however, all he really wants to do is get up on his feet and stand and walk! He'd rather just skip the whole crawling thing if it was up to him!
